Dr Michael Zacharia (MBBS, FRACS, FAAFPS, and FACCS) is a specialist Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) and facial plastic surgeon, known for his expertise in facial rejuvenation. He uses a combination of medical and surgical techniques to achieve the best results for his patients.

Dr Zacharia qualified in Medicine at Adelaide University (MBBS) in 1987 and subsequently completed his advanced training in ENT Surgery. He received his Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 1996 as a specialist surgeon qualified to perform ENT surgery and Head and Neck surgery. During this period Dr Zacharia performed over 200 rhinoplasties.

Following his graduation in 1996 Dr Zacharia was offered the position of locum Clinical Lecturer in Otolaryngology for the Medical Science Division of the University of Oxford. In 1997 he completed a six-month fellowship with the well-known Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, Dr Harry Glassman. This furthered Dr Zacharia’s knowledge in various aspects of cosmetic surgery of the face and body.

Dr Zacharia is the Past-President of the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery (ACCS) . The College is a multi-disciplinary body consisting of General Surgeons, Plastic Surgeons, Dermatologists, Ear Nose and Throat surgeons, Ophthalmologists and other specialist practitioners. Dr Zacharia is also the President of the Australasian Academy of Anti-Ageing Medicine (A5M). The Academy promotes the application of advanced scientific and medical technologies for the detection, prevention and treatment of age-related disorders.

Dr Zacharia is a member of the Australasian Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery, the American Academy Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and Australasian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery. He is also a Medical Director at the Bondi Junction Private Hospital.

Dr Zacharia presents at international conferences and seminars and is involved in a number of procedural training initiatives.

Dr Zacharia specialises in a variety of surgical procedures including rhinoplasty, face lifts, brow lifts, neck lifts, NuLift, chin augmentation, cheek augmentation, eyelid reduction and liposuction. He is also an expert in the following non-surgical practices: anti-ageing, injectables, lip enhancement, facial rejuvenation, Thermage, lipolysis and mesotherapy.

Kim Zacharia is a Registered Nurse who has been working in the Aesthetic Industry since she graduated form Nursing and works under the direct supervision of Dr Zacharia. She has a keen interest in Skin Rejuvenation procedures customised to suit each individual and lifestyle.
